About the Business
We are a small, friendly company situated in the World Heritage City of Bath, and we paint and create for a living. We are trained in art, interior design, and furniture painting, and we love what we do! Specialising in French and Gustavian-style finishes, we use a subtle palate of beautiful chalk paints and waxes by interiors expert Annie Sloan to transform and update furniture. We also sell painted treasures and gifts you won't find anywhere else. You will find us at antique and vintage fayres, but mostly in our lovely farmhouse studios, the home of The Marmalade House. We like to share our skills and spread the word about Annie's unique chalk paint, so we now offer her one-day 'How to Paint Furniture' courses. We are also proud stockists of the full range of Annie Sloan chalk paints and waxes which are available at our studios in Bath - open Thursday to Saturday 10am to 4pm and any other time by appointment.
