Bowthorpe James was founded by Tom Bowthorpe in 1999, and has completed a wide range of architectural projects in London, the West Country and beyond.
Tom has a broad experience in architecture and planning knowledge, with the added advantage of a creative and practical, hands-on skill base. As such his services can cover all aspects of your project from free initial consultations, 2D and 3D design, planning applications, building control applications and detailed drawings, written specifications and bespoke furniture design. He also provides a project management service and has good relations with local builders.
His successes to date have included the extension and refurbishment of several properties in Cornwall's exclusive Helford River area, extensions in Falmouth and Truro, a high-spec warehouse conversion in London's East-end, and he has also worked on projects in the French Alps and Pyrenees.
