About the Business
Kate graduated with a degree in Applied Interior Design and Architecture from University in Canada and then returned to England where she worked for several architects and designers including John Stefanidis for five years.
In 1992, Kate set up Kate Bingham Interior Design Ltd. and works with a small team of architects and designers from West Sussex and Chelsea, London. Kate has worked on many exciting and varied interior design projects both at home and abroad; focusing primarily on residential design and super yachts. Kate also has some experience with Hotels including a suite she designed at Claridges.
It's Kate's attention to detail, architectural background and ability to execute a wide range of design commissions that has lead her to be voted in the exclusive Directory of 100 Leading Interior Designers in March 2006 by Homes and Gardens Magazine. She succinctly sums up her design style as 'smart, classical and contemporary'.
